Storms nearly guarantee epic sunrises and sunsets. Without clouds, sunrises and sunsets are like a blank canvas … empty. Storms deliver massive and dramatic clouds stretched across the sky … the secret sauce for explosive colors. Sun flirts with the horizon, punches her light onto the clouds and BOOM the neon light show begins. Happens fast, but the beauty is worth the ride.
Thus, storms charge me up, I love shooting in them. BUT I can’t stand being wet and cold … gotta get aggressive with your gear. Storms, boats and wet cold … the Barbour delivers!
